Tidings of Peace Mennonite Church provides many exciting opportunities for fellowship, spiritual enrichment, and fulfilling volunteerism.

We have numerous programs:

-TOP Christian School

-Thursday Night Bible School.

Classes for ages 5 and older. Every Thursday evening from Sept 1, to May 31 each year, except Thanksgiving and the week between Christmas and New Years. Children ages 5 - grade 6 meet at the church building at 318 E Poplar St. Older children meet at the School building, 329 E Poplar St.
Bible School starts at 7:15pm and concludes at 8:45pm. Staff walks your child to and from the School. Call 843-4562 for more information, or to arrange a pick up for your child.

-Summer Bible School

Held the Sunday After July 4th each year thru the following Thursday evening. The activities are held from 7:15 - 8:45pm. The Friday following Summer Bible School, the church sponsors a picnic at the John Rudy County Park for those who have attended 4 or 5 of the nights, and had good behaviour.

-Monthly Evangelism Outreach

Each 3rd Sunday of the month, the members of the congregation do various projects to reach their neighbors with God's love. This could include singing on the street corners, or at an area retirement home, visiting in homes, handing out Gospel literature, or special meals and picnics.

-Monthly Sewing Circle

Each month on the 2nd Tuesday, at 7:00pm, several sisters from the congregation gather to sew blankets to aid poor people overseas through the Christian Aid program. All Welcome

- Ladies Banquet

The 4th Saturday of September finds teenage and older ladies gathered in the school's gym for a special meal in honor of womanhood. The Banquet includes games, songs, a speaker and of course really good food. The banquet is open to all ladies of the church, school and neighborhood.

- Easter Sunrise Service

A special morning service to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ is held each Easter morning at 6:30.
